I read a book a few weeks ago that mentioned something about making bread in a pressure cooker. At 31-years-old, my palate’s matured a little, and my tastes now lean more toward savory than sweet. In fact, the sweet potato and rice have allowed me to cut down on the amount of chicken and fish I’m eating. Here you can learn how to prepare delicious, traditional Greek dishes from recipes used in the home by local mothers and grandmothers!

The Veg Space is a vegan & vegetarian blog packed with ludicrously tasty recipes. What I’ve made here is a very loosely-based compilation of some of those recipes.

I had the brunch special (served all day and night) Bloody Beer with Ghost River Grindhouse Ale and Nikki’s Hot Ass Bloody Mary Mix (it’s vegan and locally made!). Next add the broth and remaining vegetables and bring to a boil and allow to boil until potatoes are close to tender.

On our last afternoon in town, we managed to sneak in a visit to one more vegan food truck: Bistro Vonish I had heard so many great things about this wonderful spot. You might like some of the recipes in Cooking for One or Two , with any luck, they’ll inspire you to head back into the kitchen once in awhile!

When I received my review copy in the mail several days ago, the first thing that impressed me was how well put together this cookbook is, with beautiful photography that accompanies each recipe and easy-to-read recipes that each fit on a single page.
